Baseball is played two
seasons
per year: Spring and Fall. Softball is only in the Spring.
The groups
for Spring baseball are made of four levels
of play based on the age of the child by May 1st:
T-BALL: Ages 5 and 6
COACH PITCH: Age 7 (limited pitching)
KNEE HI: Ages 8, 9, and 10
MITES: Ages
11 and 12
Spring Baseball also has three level of travel teams:
10 and Under
12 and Under
Diamond League
Softball has two levels of play:
10 and under: Ages 8, 9, and 10
12 and under: Ages 11 and 12
Fall Baseball has two levels of play based on the age:
9, 10, and 11
12, 13, and 14
MTAA sponsors three baseball teams for ages 13-16:
