Baseball is played two seasons
per year: Spring and Fall. Softball is only in the Spring.
The groups for Spring baseball are made of four levels of play based on the age of the child as of April 30th:
…. Please note some age groups have changed for 2012. Considerations will be given to children at the coach pitch and knee high level if they “played up” in those age groups last year

Baseball: Level Ages (As of April 30)
Tee Ball 5 & 6 (girls & boys)
Coach Pitch 7 & 8
Knee Hi 9 & 10
Mite 11 & 12
All games will be played at the MTAA facility against other MTAA teams. No travel required. Participants level of play is flexible. |
Travel Baseball: Level Ages (As of April 30)
Junior Diamond Lg. 8-10
Diamond Lg. 11 & 12
These teams are part of a traveling league that is made up of primarily Berks County teams. Some travel outside the county may be required. |
Softball: Level Ages (As of December 31)
8U (Coach Pitch) 6 – 8
10U 9 & 10
12U 11 & 12
These teams are part of the Berks County Girls Softball League - traveling required. |
Fall Baseball has two levels of play based on the age:
9, 10, and 11
12, 13, and 14
2012 FEES: Membership: $30.00 (1 time per calendar year)
Sport Fee per child: $80.00
Diamond and Junior Diamond League $125.00
2012 Fall Baseball Fees: $80.00 per child
A $30 late fee will be assessed for any player signing up after February 15, 2012.

MTAA has relinquished our 13-16 year-old teams to be overseen by Muhlenberg American Legion. MTAA would like to thank the American Legion for their willingness to take on these additional teams and give our area boys a place to play baseball.
