Baseball is played two seasons
per year: Spring and Fall. Softball is only in the Spring.
The groups for Spring baseball are made of five levels of play based on the age of the child by May 1st:
COACH PITCH - Age 5&6 (Co-Ed)
KNEE HI - Ages 7, 8 & 9
JR DIAMOND LEAGUE Ages 8, 9 & 10
(formerly 10u tournament)
MITES - Ages 10, 11 & 12 **
DIAMOND LEAGUE- Ages 10, 11 & 12

MTAA will be accepting 13 year-olds who have been released from the City-County Junior Team. All 13 year-olds must first try out for the City-County Junior team prior to being accepted back into the MTAA Mite program.
Spring Baseball also has three levels of travel teams:
Junior Diamond League
12U Tournament team
Diamond League

Softball has three levels of play: (Age as of Dec 31)
8 and under - Ages 6, 7 and 8
10 and under - Ages 9 and 10
12 and under - Ages 11 and 12
Fall Baseball has two levels of play based on the age:
9, 10, and 11
12, 13, and 14
2010 FEES: Membership: $30.00 (1 time per year)
Uniform Fee: $20
Sport Fee 1st child: $60.00
Sport Fee for each additional child in
family is $30.00
Competition Fee: $30.00 (12u Tournament team)
Diamond and Junior Diamond League $125.00
(includes uniform fee)
A $30 late fee will be assessed for any player signing up after the last sign up date.

** SENIOR LEAGUE INFORMATION **
MTAA has relinquished our 13-16 year-old teams to be overseen by Muhlenberg American Legion. MTAA would like to thank the American Legion for their willingness to take on these additional teams and give our area boys a place to play baseball.
