Player Code of Conduct

 

As a MTAA youth athlete, I agree to the following statements:

  • I will,
    • respect any and all parents, guardians, guests, coaches and officials
    • conduct myself with dignity
    • be accountable for my behavior and its outcome
    • play by the rules set in place by MTAA
    • not cheat in any form
    • resolve all conflicts without fighting
    • not condemn my team mates for any mistakes they may make
    • not use any profane language and/or gestures
    • but forth my best effort regardless the outcome
    • conduct myself in a grown up manner as to not embarrass myself, parents, guests, coaches or the association
    • remember that I am representing MTAA at any/all of my activities 

I understand that if I do not conduct myself in the manner described above, I will be subject to disciplinary action set forth by my coach and/or the appropriate sport commissioner. 

If requested by the appropriate sport commissioner and/or parent/guardian, the MTAA Board of Directors will review any suspensions given to a player to ensure the fairness of the punishment.
