What do you need for the 1st night of practice and the season?
· Mouth guard
· Shin guards
· Stick (you may purchase or we do have some available to use for the season)
– Longstreth Sporting Good Store
– Stick height should only go up to your hip (when standing stick on ground, straight up)
– Longstreth has nice field hockey starter packs available at the retail store that include a stick, shin guards and a ball for a reasonable price
· Cleats (for grass/turf)
· Bring a water bottle (labeled) to every practice
· Please buy a pair of black shorts to wear with the uniform shirt issued to each player.
What does MTAA provide?
· Each player will receive a uniformed shirt and socks.
· We will have some sticks available to rent (free of cost for the season)
· We will provide balls at each practice to facilitate play (but not to keep).
