We will be posting about travel try-outs shortly. We will have a A and B JV and Varsity teams. In the past these teams were 5th and 6th grade, the board voted to just call them Varsity and JV. The goal is to get kids more experience with competitive games against other schools.
This is great program, last year both teams went undefeated in both Varsity and JV, and went on to win the championships, we are hoping to do the same!
New for this year will be our B teams, the B team for JV will be composed of mostly 4th graders. They will end up playing in Div 3 of the league. Same with B Varsity team, they will play in Div 3. The A teams will play in Div 1 as we have in the past.
At in-house try-outs, we will have a sign up sheet for travel tryouts. All you have to do is sign up and come to the tryouts. If your son makes the team we will then collect payment. Cost for travel will be the same as in-house($90). This will cover the entire season of games 10 + playoffs if made. As well as 2 tournaments.
We are hoping to get about 18-20 kids for each level, hopefully 9-10 kids per team.
